Hydrolyzed from pure silk fibers, our new Foaming Silk has the added benefit of natural lathering properties for mild cleansing. With a molecular weight between 3000 - 5000 daltons, it is low enough to be substantive to both skin and hair. Consider for use in hair care, facial and body cleansing applications.
Note, NO liquid silk proteins are manufactured without preservatives, including ours. Preservatives are necessary to maintain the integrity of the raw material. We have provided the preservative used by the manufacturer below for your reference.
Recommended Usage Level: 1-10%, up to 100%.
Appearance: Clear to slightly hazy amber brown liquid with characteristic odor
Preserved with: DMDMDH and Methylparaben
