Preventhelia^® Solution

The skin is the biggest organ of our body, which acts as a protective barrier between us and the environment. The cosmetic industry is continuously researching new technologies and active ingredients that help to diminish the effects on the skin of both intrinsic and extrinsic aging. Intrinsic aging is determined by our own metabolism, happening inevitably and it is characterised by smooth, dry, pale and finely wrinkled skin. In contrast, extrinsic aging is due to environmental factors that affect the skin such as pollution, free radicals, stress and ultraviolet (UV) radiation and it is associated with skin thickening, severe wrinkling and pigmentary changes.

As a photoprotectant active incorporated into formulations for daily use, Preventhelia^® Solution is able to reverse and prevent the damage caused directly or indirectly by UV irradiation to DNA and proteins.
