Shealoe™
Shealoe™ is an emulsified product created using equivalent quantities of Shea Butter and Aloe Gel (~45%), providing all the advantages of Shea Butter, plus the moisturizing and soothing properties associated with Aloe Gel. Shealoe™ provides a white, high-gloss sheen combined with a non-greasy, moist feel upon application. Shealoe™ can be added to formulations or used as is to soothe dry and irritated skin.
When formulating, to add to lip balms, lotion bars and other anhydrous mixtures, Shealoe™ should be gently heated to no more than 132°F (55°C) to avoid separation of the emulsion, and added to the balance of the oils when they've cooled to approximately the same temperature. When adding to a hot process emulsion (lotions and creams), Shealoe™ can simply be added to the oil phase and processed as usual up to 176°F (80°C). The Shealoe™ emulsion will separate, but the product will re-emulsify when the oil and water phases are combined.
Recommended Usage Rate: 1 - 10%, safe up to 100%

Preserved with: Potassium Sorbate, Sodium Benzoate, Methylparaben, Propylparaben
Storage: Store at room temperature. Protect from oxidation.
