Orchid Complex OS is a naturally derived infusion of carefully cultivated Cymbidium orchids in an emollient vegetable base. This special infusion of Cymbidium in an oxygen rich bath of caprylic and capric triglycerides results in the optimum extraction of the orchid's essential oils.
The orchid flower has long been used in Asia for for its reparative and protective properties. Rich in minerals, orchids are well known for their moisturizing properties, fighting free radicals, increasing skin immunity and reducing the appearance of fine lines. Orchid Complex OS combines the beauty and benefits of the orchid flower with the excellent emolliency of Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride.
Soluble in most vegetable oils and alcohol, it may be used as an emollient, dispersing agent for pigments or used in fragrance products. It is an excellent emollient for creams, toners and skin serums. It is stable up to three years and liquid at room temperature.
