Ideal preservative for anhydrous products (body scrubs, lip balms, lipsticks, lotion bars). It can also be used in emulsions. Parabens are primarily fungicides, but have good activity against Gram-positive organisms. For formulas that require more protection, LiquaPar Oil may be combined with Suttocide A or another Sutton preservative to increase effectiveness.
