DM6 is a silicone oil of very low viscosity similar to that of cyclomethicone, but without its volatility. It offers water resistance in skin cream formulations, but primarily it adds slip and glide, reducing tackiness, and adding conditioning properties when used in hair and skin care applications. It is also used in pressed powder formulations.

Recommended Use Rate: 0.5 - 4.0%
Appearance: Clear thin liquid
Flashpoint:>300°F
